Last Friday, I got a rare chance perform alongside a lot of magician friends for the guests at a Prostate Scotland charity bash held at Murrayfield. It was run by the Crusaders rugby team and included their guests, the London Wasp Legends, whom they were due to play the next day as part of the event.
There were towers of themed cup cakes, posters and shirts signed by famous rugby/football players, a very tasty looking meal, speeches with bad jokes, an array of competitions and live music to top of the evening.
It was great that so many magicians turned up to help too. Every magician has their own flavour and material, so the tables were spoilt for choice. The guests I performed for were really good fun and seemed to love a bit of magic.
Congratulations to Duncan Wilson and the other organisers. It seemed like a big success overall!
